SB1214 was signed by Governor Ducey on April 1, 2015.  The bill establishes a mental, behavioral, and physical health evaluation and treatment program for licensees.  Other changes amend complaint procedures and allow the board to review accreditation standards of homeopathic programs from other countries to determine if they are similar to standards set forth by ACHENA.  

Doctor of Homeopathy law signed by Governor on April 19, 2011.  Licensure of Homeopathic Doctors becomes effective on January 1, 2015.  Call the Board for information 602-542-8154.

2014 Five Year Review    The review was approved by the Governor's Regulatory Review Council on June 3, 2014.

Small Business Bill of Rights Statement HoH.B. 2260 added subsection (C) to A.R.S. §41-200.01 Regulatory Bill of Rights, http://www.azleg.gov/legtext/51leg/2r/laws/0204.pdf.  The bill requires state agencies that conduct audits, inspections, or other regulatory enforcement actions pursuant to ARS 41-1009 to create a Small Business Bill of Rights.

Welcome to the Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners Home Page.

Board Mission

The Board’s mission is to protect the health, safety and welfare of Arizona citizens by examining, licensing and regulating homeopathic physicians.  The Board also registers homeopathic medical assistants that work under the supervision of licensed homeopathic physicians.

The Board licenses and regulates approximately 78 Physicians practicing in the state, and has registered 13 Medical Assistants.
